RIDE FASTER, RIDE FURTHER
A racing frame and the perfect balance between performance and comfort. The Cento10NDR will let you spend long hours in the saddle, thanks to its specially designed endurance geometry and the ACTIFLEX system – Wilier’s new approach to absorbing rear vibrations generated by bumps in the road surface.
RIDE FASTER, STOP FASTER
The Cento10AIR DISC racing bike combines aerodynamic performance with an incredible control and braking capacity thanks to the hydraulic flat-mount brake disc. This bike will allow you to cycle fast in complete safety, in any weather condition. Aesthetically, the overall design is basically identical to the Cento10AIR bike, the version with traditional brake and direct mount caliper. By using the ALABARDA or STEMMA + BARRA system, the Cento10AIR DISC can offer full internal cable and sheath routing. This increases aerodynamic efficiency even further.
FLY IN THE FACE OF THE WIND
Our storied past and racing heritage have combined to produce a winning bicycle. Aerodynamics, low weight, and high ride quality make the new Cento10AIR a unique racing machine.
The brand new Cento10AIR revolutionizes aero concepts known until now. Research, study, and testing have redefined and redesigned the tube profiles, departing from the traditional concept that the thinner they are, the more aero they are. Now the bike is designed with the overall system in mind. The goal is to push the cooperation of all the components with the frame, to have the best performance.
680 GRAMS: A FRAME THAT CHALLENGES THE LIMITS OF THE POSSIBLE
It is not difficult to eliminate 100 grams from a standard frame. We have done it many times over the years. But if we have to take 100 grams off a frame that weighs less than 800 grams, the going gets tough, if not impossible. We are talking about almost 15% of the total weight. It has been possible only by exploiting two dedicated years of research, testing and road-trials. A new carbon fibre called DIALEAD™, produced by Mitsubishi Japan and blended with a new production process has finally allowed us to reach this target weight. But the biggest challenge has been to combine this lightness with the extreme manoeuvrability and exceptional handling that has made our products famous the world over. This then not only involved research into reducing the weight, but also into our production process and the finest constructional details of the frame. The Zero.6 comes with a unique matt black finishing, polished decals and silver highlighting.
799 GRAMS OF PURE TECHNOLOGY
Technology advances, step by step, pedal stroke after pedal stroke, inexorably. Everything that matters, evolves. All the rest fades into the past. A stylistic and technological update to renew the essence of the top bike Wilier’s range.
Zero.7. Unrelenting evolution.
THE PAST FUTURE
A tribute to a product that has made Wilier famous for the last half century. This is what this new collection of frames constructed and finished by the hands of skilled craftsmen represents. A product that nods to the past, but in completely new and renovated fine finishes, like the iconic copper color, used in the 40s and later taken up by the second and third generations of the Wilier family. Undisputed Made in Italy charm which underlines once again the love of this brand for its country, just as back in the 40s it demonstrated its patriotism like so: W l’Italia LIbera E Redenta. (Meaning: Long live Italy, free and redeemed).
ACCUSTOMED TO HIGH SPEED
A new milestone has been reached at Casa Wilier. The Cento1’s fifth generation is now a here. After Cento1, Cento1SL, Cento1SLR and Cento1SR, we wanted to push ourselves further. Once again.
The basis for this 2014 development has been to bring us closer to the aerodynamic efficiency of the TwinBlade, coupled with the Cento1’s versatility and performance. Cento1 is now working with the the wind. Performance, efficiency, comfort and now even more aerodynamic. Cento1AIR represents the culmination of all of our knowledge acquired in recent years.
Among the winning innovations featured at the TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2014, a competition organised by the international forum design (IF Design), was the Cento1AIR, WILIER TRIESTINA’s new aerodynamic racing frame.
ITALIAN TECHNOLOGY TAKING IT TO THE NEXT EVOLUTION
Whether you race or not, the GTR SL or GTR TEAM is aimed for the rider who needs a bike for multiple uses.
Light and responsive for the racer, yet comfortable and versatile for those who enjoy cycling without stress. The GTR SL and GTR TEAM are identical in geometry and sizing, coming from the same carbon mold. They differ in the carbon composition: GTR SL uses a 60 TON / 46 TON carbon blend, to produce a frame weight of 990 grams. The GTR TEAM uses a 46 TON / 30 TON carbon blend, producing a frame weight of 1190 grams. Utilizing Wilier Triestina’s carbon expertise, two frames can be offered with the same construction technologies but with a difference in weight, performance, and price.
GRANDTURISMO IN ITS DNA
INNOVATIVE IN ITS ESSENCE
All of the GranTurismo experience flows in its soul. Other than for the most extreme racers, this is the single most beloved frameset of all. In its second life, GTR inherits Granturismo’s carbon fiber composite and acquires a renewed tapered head tube. Internal cable routing has been revolutionized making assembling the frame easier.
Thanks to the Smooth Rear Design system, it continues to boast the same comfort where vertical vibrations are dampened without dissipating muscle power. Torsional stiffness and stability continue to be assured by the Razor Edge Design: the profiles that branch out from the seat tube and bottom bracket join near the headset. The edging that runs along the full extent of the fork makes the front end remarkably stable and receptive when pedalling out of the saddle.
Its new elegant finishes are the result of Wilier Triestina’s research and care for technical and aesthetic details..
GTR Team Disc
ITALIAN TECHNOLOGY TAKING IT TO THE NEXT EVOLUTION
GTR TEAM DISC is a special version of GTR TEAM available with Flat Mount disc brakes, a new technology from Shimano for the Spring of 2015. The rear triangle, in addition to being designed asymmetrically, is designed to accommodate 28mm tires, in line with the latest market trends that see strong growth in the disc gravel bike sector. GTR TEAM DISC can also be used in UCI races for the coming seasons.
IN EVERY DETAIL
ALABARDA is the brand new 390 grams monocoque integrated aero bar. This handlebar is a Wilier design, born to match prefectly the new Cento10AIR, like almost any other Wilier Triestina road bikes. The bar is designed following NACA algorithm, as the new Cento10AIR frame. The aero performance is at a very high level, every detail has been designed to make the wind disappear.
